    • In 1985, Petra was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in recognition of its outstanding cultural and architectural heritage.
    • Explore the ancient city, from the narrow Siq and magnificent Treasury to the remarkable monuments carved into the surrounding mountains.
    • After lunch, continue south towards Wadi Rum(2 hours 30 minutes), entering a vast desert landscape of towering sandstone mountains, open valleys and ancient rock formations.

    • We then proceed to Jericho, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, with a visit to the Church of the Good Shepherd and Mass.
    • The journey rises towards the Mount of Temptation, traditionally associated with Christ’s time in the wilderness, with sweeping views across the Jordan Valley.
    • A cable-car ride reaches the summit, followed by lunch at Tel Frei overlooking the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the mountains of Jordan.
    • We continue towards the Dead Sea, where time is set aside for a memorable float in its mineral-rich waters.

    • We begin on the Mount of Olives with the Ascension Chapel and Pater Noster, followed by Dominus Flevit, traditionally associated with Christ’s view and lament over Jerusalem.
    • The walk descends along the Palm Sunday route towards Gethsemane, recalling Christ’s entry into Jerusalem and the crowds who welcomed Him with “Hosanna.”
    • Gethsemane and the Basilica of the Agony evoke the night of Christ’s prayer before the Passion, followed by the Tomb of St Mary.
    • On Mount Zion, the Upper Room and David’s Tomb recall important chapters of Jerusalem’s biblical and Christian heritage.

    • The journey continues to Muhraka, a Carmelite monastery in Daliyat El Carmel on the southern slopes of Mount Carmel, traditionally associated with Elijah’s confrontation with the prophets of Baal.
    • From Muhraka, the elevated setting offers sweeping views across the Jezreel Valley, adding a striking dimension to the biblical landscape.
    • From Carmel, we continue to Nazareth, visiting the Basilica of the Annunciation, Joseph’s Workshop and Mary’s Well, places closely connected with the early life of Christ.

    • The journey continues westward towards Jaffa (1 hour), descending from the hills of Jerusalem to the Mediterranean coast and one of the region’s ancient ports.
    • Visit St Peter’s Church, traditionally associated with the Apostle Peter and the raising of Tabitha, an important episode from the Acts of the Apostles.
    • A short walk through historic Jaffa reveals its ancient harbour, narrow streets and centuries-old Mediterranean character.
    • Special BBQ seafood lunch in Jaffa before returning towards Bethlehem.

    • A brief stop at Ein Gedi offers a glimpse of the dramatic oasis rising from the Judean Desert above the Dead Sea, before continuing south towards Eilat.
    • We then reach the Taba Border, marking the passage from the Holy Land into Egypt and the beginning of the Sinai chapter of the pilgrimage.

    • Visit St Catherine’s Monastery, founded in the 6th century and recognized by UNESCO as part of the Saint Catherine World Heritage Site, with the traditional site of the Burning Bush preserved within its ancient walls.
    • A view towards Mount Sinai recalls the sacred mountain traditionally associated with Moses and the receiving of the Tablets of the Law.
    • Lunch at Abou Zneima before continuing across the Sinai wilderness, with the desert landscape unfolding along the route.

      Day 04

      Mount of Olives, Mount Zion & Bethlehem

      • 07.00 Transfer to Jerusalem. (45 minutes, require check point crossing)
      • We begin on the Mount of Olives with the Ascension Chapel and Pater Noster, followed by Dominus Flevit, traditionally associated with Christ’s view and lament over Jerusalem.
      • The walk descends along the Palm Sunday route towards Gethsemane, recalling Christ’s entry into Jerusalem and the crowds who welcomed Him with “Hosanna.”
      • Gethsemane and the Basilica of the Agony evoke the night of Christ’s prayer before the Passion, followed by the Tomb of St Mary.
      • On Mount Zion, the Upper Room and David’s Tomb recall important chapters of Jerusalem’s biblical and Christian heritage.
      • Dormition Abbey, traditionally associated with the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, leads to a walk downhill towards St Peter at Gallicantu, traditionally linked with the house of Caiaphas and Peter’s denial.
      • We then continue to Bethlehem for a BBQ open-buffet lunch at Tent – Sababa Restaurant.
      • The afternoon unfolds at Shepherd’s Field, traditionally associated with the shepherds who received the angelic announcement of Christ’s birth.
      • The Milk Grotto, a place of longstanding Christian devotion associated with the Holy Family.
      • The day concludes with Holy Mass at the Basilica of the Nativity, built over the traditional site of Christ’s birth.

      Day 05

      Haifa, Mt Carmel, Nazareth & Cana

      • 06.30 Transfer norh to Haifa and Mount Carmel, where Elijah’s Cave recalls the prophet’s presence in this dramatic biblical landscape, with views towards the magnificent Baháʼí Gardens and Temple.
      • The journey continues to Muhraka, a Carmelite monastery in Daliyat El Carmel on the southern slopes of Mount Carmel, traditionally associated with Elijah’s confrontation with the prophets of Baal.
      • From Muhraka, the elevated setting offers sweeping views across the Jezreel Valley, adding a striking dimension to the biblical landscape.
      • From Carmel, we continue to Nazareth, visiting the Basilica of the Annunciation, Joseph’s Workshop and Mary’s Well, places closely connected with the early life of Christ.
      • Lunch in Nazareth before continuing to Cana of Galilee, the traditional site of the Wedding at Cana and Christ’s first miracle.
      • Holy Mass in Cana, followed by the Renewal of Wedding Vows in the setting traditionally associated with Christ’s first miracle.
      • Time to discover Cana wine and local specialties before transferring to Tiberias or Nazareth for dinner and overnight.

      Day 06

      Sea of Galilee & Mount Tabor

      • We begin at the Mount of Beatitudes, traditionally associated with Christ’s Sermon on the Mount, overlooking the Sea of Galilee.
      • Continue to Capernaum, the lakeside town closely associated with Christ’s ministry, with Holy Mass at Kfar Nahum.
      • At Tabgha, visit the Church of the Primacy of Peter and Mensa Christi, recalling the risen Christ’s appearance to His disciples beside the Sea of Galilee.
      • A boat ride across the Sea of Galilee aboard a replica of the fishing boats used in biblical times brings the Gospel landscape vividly to life.
      • St Peter’s Fish Lunch by the shores of the Sea of Galilee, recalling the fishermen, fish and Gospel stories woven into the life of the lake.
      • We then travel towards Mount Tabor, rising above the surrounding valleys and landscapes of Galilee.
      • Visit the Basilica of the Transfiguration, traditionally identified with the mountain where Christ was transfigured before Peter, James and John.
      • Return to Bethlehem, with a farewell meeting in the evening. (2 hours)

      Day 07

      The Old City of Jerusalem & Ein Karem

      • Transfer to Jerusalem. (30 minutes, require check point crossing)
      • Enter the Old City of Jerusalem via Lions Gate nd begin at the Pools of Bethesda, traditionally associated with the healing of the paralytic described in the Gospel of John.
      • Follow the Via Dolorosa through the Chapels of the Flagellation and Condemnation, passing beneath the Ecce Homo Arch along the ancient streets of Jerusalem.
      • The journey continues to the Holy Sepulchre, the sacred heart of the Passion and Resurrection story, with visits to Calvary and the traditional Tomb of Christ.
      • Holy Mass at Calvary, in one of Christianity’s most sacred places.
      • Sumptuous lunch before leaving Jerusalem for the hill country of Ein Karem, traditionally associated with the Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth.
      • Visit the Church of the Visitation, recalling Mary’s meeting with Elizabeth and the beautiful words of the Magnificat.
      • The Church of St John the Baptist, traditionally marking the birthplace of John the Baptist, completes the visit to Ein Karem.

      Day 08

      Saxum, Jaffa & Adoration at Gethsemane

      • We begin at Saxum Visitor Center, where interactive displays, maps, models and visual presentations place the biblical events and sacred places of the Holy Land within their historical and geographical setting.
      • The journey continues westward towards Jaffa (1 hour), descending from the hills of Jerusalem to the Mediterranean coast and one of the region’s ancient ports.
      • Visit St Peter’s Church, traditionally associated with the Apostle Peter and the raising of Tabitha, an important episode from the Acts of the Apostles.
      • A short walk through historic Jaffa reveals its ancient harbour, narrow streets and centuries-old Mediterranean character.
      • Special BBQ seafood lunch in Jaffa before returning towards Bethlehem.
      • Early dinner in Bethlehem before continuing to Jerusalem for the evening.
      • Adoration at Gethsemane, where the Basilica of the Agony and the ancient olive trees create a deeply prayerful setting for the final evening in the Holy Land.
      • Return to Bethlehem for overnight. (1 hour 30 minutes)

      Day 09

      From Israel to Sinai, Red Sea

      • We leave Bethlehem and journey south through the Arava Valley, following a landscape rich in biblical memory and ancient history.
      • The route passes the region traditionally associated with Sodom and Gomorrah, then continues through the desert landscapes of Masada, Ein Gedi, Tzukim, Paran, Elifaz and Eilat, where the biblical story remains woven into the journey.
      • A brief stop at Ein Gedi offers a glimpse of the dramatic oasis rising from the Judean Desert above the Dead Sea, before continuing south towards Eilat.
      • We then reach the Taba Border, marking the passage from the Holy Land into Egypt and the beginning of the Sinai chapter of the pilgrimage.
      • Lunch at Salah El Din Village, Taba, followed by free time beside the Red Sea, where desert mountains descend towards the waters of the Gulf of Aqaba.
      • Evening Mass at the hotel in Taba, bringing the day to a prayerful close at the threshold of Sinai.
      • Overnight at Taba.

      St Catherine and across the Sinai Wilderness to Cairo

      • Leaving Taba, the journey passes through the rugged landscapes of Sinai towards St Catherine, entering the wilderness associated with the Exodus and the biblical journey of
      • We leave Taba and enter the vast landscapes of Sinai, where rugged mountains and open desert evoke the wilderness journey of Moses and the Israelites.
      • The road leads to St Catherine, set among the dramatic mountains of the southern Sinai.
      • Visit St Catherine’s Monastery, founded in the 6th century and recognized by UNESCO as part of the Saint Catherine World Heritage Site, with the traditional site of the Burning Bush preserved within its ancient walls.
      • A view towards Mount Sinai recalls the sacred mountain traditionally associated with Moses and the receiving of the Tablets of the Law.
      • Lunch at Abou Zneima before continuing across the Sinai wilderness, with the desert landscape unfolding along the route.
      • Pass through the traditional Exodus landscapes associated with Rephidim and Marah Elim, recalling the long journey of the Israelites through the wilderness.
      • As the desert journey draws towards its close, we cross beneath the Suez Canal through the Ahmed Hamdi Tunnel, entering mainland Egypt and the fertile lands beyond.
      • Continue to Cairo and transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
